Travel Policy

Understand the guidelines, rules, and procedures for using Katos India's travel services. Your safety and comfort are our priority.

1. Booking and Confirmation

All ride bookings are subject to availability. Once you book a ride through the Katos India Platform, you will receive a confirmation with the driver details, vehicle information, and estimated arrival time. It is your responsibility to ensure that the pickup location and time are accurate. Any changes must be made through the Platform or by contacting customer support.

2. Ride Cancellation and Refunds

  • Customer Cancellation: You may cancel a booking free of charge within 5 minutes of confirmation. Cancellations after this period may incur a cancellation fee, which will be displayed at the time of cancellation.
  • Driver Cancellation: If a driver cancels the ride due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund and a notification to book another ride.
  • Refund Processing: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method used for booking.

3. No-Show Policy

If you fail to meet the driver at the designated pickup location within 10 minutes of the driver's arrival, the ride will be considered a "no-show." No-show rides are charged a cancellation fee as per the fare displayed. The driver may leave after the waiting period, and no refund will be issued.

4. Luggage and Passenger Capacity

  • Passengers are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings at all times.
  • Each vehicle has a specified passenger capacity. Exceeding the capacity is not permitted for safety reasons.
  • Large items or excessive luggage may require a larger vehicle. Please select the appropriate vehicle type during booking.

5. Pets and Service Animals

Service animals are welcome on all Katos rides. Please inform the driver at the time of booking. Pets are allowed at the driver's discretion. Kindly inform us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

6. Ride Safety and Conduct

  • All passengers must wear seat belts at all times.
  • Smoking, alcohol consumption, and the use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
  • Passengers are expected to behave respectfully toward the driver and treat the vehicle with care.
  • Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers will be charged to the customer.

7. Lost and Found

If you leave any personal belongings in the vehicle, please contact us immediately at care@travel.katos.in or call 8181810816. We will work with the driver to retrieve your items. A nominal delivery fee may apply for returning lost items.

8. Ride Sharing and Additional Stops

  • Ride sharing is not permitted unless you have booked a shared ride option, which is available in select cities.
  • Additional stops during the ride may be accommodated upon request. Additional distance and time charges may apply.

9. Special Assistance

We are committed to providing accessible travel options for passengers with disabilities. If you require special assistance, please mention it during booking or contact us in advance. Drivers will provide reasonable assistance, but they are not trained medical professionals.

10. Pricing and Fare Calculation

Fares are calculated based on the distance traveled, time taken, and demand. The fare estimate provided during booking is an approximate amount. The final fare may vary due to route changes, traffic, or waiting time. Additional charges may apply for tolls, parking, and airport fees.

11. Driver Waiting Time

Drivers will wait for up to 10 minutes at the pickup location after arrival. If you are delayed, please inform the driver through the Platform. Additional waiting time may be charged at the rate displayed.

12. Travel Restrictions

  • Katos India operates in designated cities and regions. Please check availability before booking.
  • Outstation trips are subject to approval and may require additional documentation.
  • Some routes may be restricted due to local laws or safety concerns.

13. Customer Feedback

Your feedback is valuable to us. After each ride, you will have the option to rate your driver and provide comments. This helps us maintain high service standards. We also encourage you to report any issues or concerns to our support team.

14. Force Majeure

Katos India shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or technical failures.

15. Modifications to Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Travel Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
